In the vast expanse of the ocean, the wanderers’ footsteps have never ceased. Now, the long-awaited Symphony of the Sea 2.4 version is about to arrive like an incoming tide, bringing endless surprises and anticipation. New characters, new regions, and new outfits—every bit of waiting will be rewarded in this version. Let us step together onto the long-awaited shore and feel the impact of the waves.
The herald of the update: New characters, Kathishia and Rupa
Like the radiant glow where the sea meets the sky, the two new characters, Kathishia and Rupa, will make their debut in the 2.4 version. They shine like two dazzling pearls, each radiating their unique brilliance.
First half of the banner: Kathishia’s arrival
Kathishia, a Wind-type Resonancer, wields a swift blade and dances like a performer under the moonlight. She has two forms: Kathishia and Frondre. During battle, she can switch freely between these two forms, transforming like the tides.
As Kathishia:
Her attacks are as fleeting as sword shadows. Every normal attack, heavy strike, and Resonance skill summons different shadows of the blade.
When the shadows are present, a plunging attack will recall them, dealing additional damage based on their number and type.
As Frondre:
When her Resonance energy is full, her Resonance Release transforms her into Frondre.
In this form, her attacks generate belief. When belief reaches 120 points, she can unleash her powerful ultimate skill: Roar of the Wind Blade.
Second half of the banner: Rupa’s arrival
Rupa, the last member of the Magma and Longblade Resonancers, shines like a blazing flame. She not only serves as a support role for the team but also deals significant damage.
As a support:
Her Resonance Release grants the team the effects of “Pursuit” and “Glory”:

Pursuit: Increases team damage, stackable up to 18%.
Glory: Ignores the enemy’s Magma resistance, stackable up to 9%.

Her Encore skill provides the next Resonancer with Magma damage and basic attack enhancement.
As a damage dealer:
Her attacks generate wolf flames. When the wolf flames reach 50 points, her heavy strikes and Phase 3 aerial attacks will restore her wolf soul.
When her wolf soul is full, she unlocks her enhanced Resonance skill.
The promised shore: The arrival of new characters
